Marla Westervelt is a Senior Policy Analyst and Assistant Editor for Eno Transportation Weekly (ETW). In her role as an analyst she manages and executes policy research programs and projects. In her capacity as Assistant Editor she works with Editor Jeff Davis to develop, write, and curate ETW, the premier inside the beltway publication on federal transportation policy. Westervelt led research for Eno’s NextGen working group, and played a crucial role in projects including “Getting to the Route of It: How We Pay for Transportation” and “How We Pay for Transportation: The Life and Death of the Highway Trust Fund.” Westervelt has four years of transportation research and policy work related to federal policy, transportation planning, and transportation goverance.

Westervelt received her B.A. in English and her M.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She was chosen as the 2013 Thomas J. O’Bryant Fellow.
