Mr. Church has over 18 years of experience in transportation planning, with a focus on transit.  Prior to joining McMahon, he was the Administrator of the Worcester (MA) Regional Transit Authority (WRTA), where he served as the Chief Executive Officer formulating WRTA policies and providing overall direction of the WRTA staff and its contractors. One of the largest projects completed during his tenure was the construction of a new WRTA maintenance and operations facility.

Mr. Church has over 10 years of transit planning experience with the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC) in a partnership with WRTA and has worked closely with the public, government agencies, elected officials and various consultants. Prior to CMRPC, Mr. Church served in various roles at the Central Transportation Planning Staff (CTPS) in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. Church is a 2004 National Parks Transportation Scholar where he completed the Keweenaw National Historical Park Alternative Transportation Study. Mr. Church is also a graduate of the Eno Center for Transportation’s 2017 Transit Senior Executive Program (TSEP) and was the American Public Transit Foundation’s 2017 Frank J. Lichtanski Scholarship Recipient.
