Washington D.C. – Joint statement from Eno’s interim President and CEO, Emil Frankel; Eno Board of Director’s Chairman, Lillian Borrone; and Eno’s Board of Director’s Vice Chair, Secretary James Burnley on the passing on Professor Aaron Gellman:

“Today we mourn the loss of one of the transportation industry’s greatest minds. Professor Aaron Gellman devoted his life’s work to the improvement of all aspects of transportation and acted as a mentor to many in the industry. He was an intellectual giant and a visionary. He will be sorely missed but also fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues.

The Eno Center is particularly grateful for the many years that Professor Gellman spent serving on Eno’s Board of Advisors and also as a part of Eno’s NextGen working Group. The passion with which he worked was inspirational and contagious. We benefitted greatly from his presence and hope to preserve his memory by continuing the work in which he was so deeply engaged.

Eno joins the rest of the transportation industry in honoring Professor Gellman’s life and our thoughts are with his family during this time.”
