Air travel numbers soar at Reagan National, dip at Dulles International Airport

Air traffic numbers are up at Reagan National and have decreased at Dulles International Airport.

Reagan National Airport's airfares are down 21 percent since 2005 and passenger traffic is up 32 percent. However, Dulles International Airport has seen its fares drop 23 percent and passenger traffic dip 34 percent.

Washington, D.C. ranks in the top 10 in the United States based on direct destinations, frequency, competition and price.
