House Appropriators Start FY20 Cycle
May 2, 2019 – The House Appropriations Committee moved three of the twelve annual appropriations bills for fiscal year 2020 through subcommittee this week. While none of the three bills deals with transportation, they do give a good picture of how much money will be left over for the Transportation-HUD appropriations bill.

CBO Updates 10-Year Cost of HTF Solvency to $176 Billion

T&I Leaders Introduce New Harbor Maintenance Funding Bill
May 3, 2019 – This week, the bipartisan leadership of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee introduced a bill (H.R. 2440) that would allow the immediate spend-down of $9.3 billion in balances that have built up in the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund (HMTF).
