Webinar: There’s No Tool Like Curbs: The Powerful Mobility Tool Every City Already Has
Cities are looking to their transportation systems to promote mobility, safety, equity, climate and accessibility goals. Some trends, such as the growth in e-commerce and ride-hailing, are making these achieving these goals more complex. Cities can be stymied, sometimes by other levels of government, in efforts to combat congestion. But cities typically exercise significant control over their streets, sidewalks and curb space. Curb space management policy is a powerful tool cities already have, which, if leveraged strategically, can be a powerful tool to reach mobility goals. This webinar will discuss the ways cities can develop policies for valuable curb space to drive their larger objectives.
