Eno Paper Release – Delivering the Goods: Recommendations for Funding a Federal Freight Program

May 19, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Eno Center for Transportation invites you to the release of Delivering the Goods: Recommendations for Funding a Federal Freight Program.

Eno’s Freight Working Group:

Background

The United States currently lacks a comprehensive freight policy, but over the past several years there has been substantial discussion regarding the need to develop a national program of investment in freight and goods movement. Numerous organizations have all weighed in on the need for a multimodal discretionary grant program for freight investments. However, none of these organizations have identified a specific dedicated funding source for such a program and this remains the primary barrier to implementation.

Purpose

The Eno Center for Transportation has brought together the industry’s top experts from all areas of freight to discuss how to develop a specific proposal for funding a multimodal freight program. Learn more here.
