Dear Eno Alumni,

As we come to the close of the year, Eno has begun to reflect on our programs and the wonderful people we have met. 2017 was a busy, but rewarding year for us, with record numbers of students in our leadership courses and the on-boarding of our newest effort, the Eno Multi-Agency Exchange Program (EnoMAX). We would not have accomplished this without the hard work and dedication of staff like Erin Shumate, Carolyn Dorf, Howard Permut, Richard Petty, and the rest of the Eno team.

Some facts and figures for 2017:

The newest addition to our people-development program is the Eno Multi-Agency Exchange (EnoMAX) and beginning in 2018, two new properties are joining the program: Sound Transit (Seattle) and Valley Metro (Phoenix). . EnoMAX is a muti-part technical information, networking, and leadership skills course for upwardly mobile first-level supervisors. Properties are grouped with similar agencies and make visits to all of the other properties in their group. The Multi-Agency Exchange was started in 2012 by four forward-thinking transit properties: MARTA (Atlanta), LA Metro, RTD-Denver, and DART (Dallas). Eno was asked to come on board in late 2015 to provide program direction, leadership content, and provide administrative backup to the participating properties. Eno also has overseen a targeted expansion program and more EnoMAX groups will be forming later in 2018 and beyond.

Finally, we welcomed the first graduates of the EnoMAX program into our alumni community! As many of you already know, we ask all of our alumni to keep Eno posted on opportunities, interesting articles, and your own career progress. Our next Alumni Reception will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the TRB Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. Mark the date and stay tuned for more details.

Eno wishes you all a wonderful holiday season and a strong start in the new year!

Sincerely,

Alex Bond
