Parking Reform Picks up Steam in 2019

August 14, 2019 – Over the past two decades, research from economists has brought parking policy to the forefront of transportation discussions and raised awareness of the impact of cheap, plentiful parking on mobility and housing affordability. In the past several months, Houston, Austin, San Diego, and Los Angeles have taken up parking reform efforts that could mark a departure from the status quo.

Senators Press FAA Officials on MAX Certification Procedure and UAS Rules

August 1, 2019 – In the wake of recent reporting in The New York Times and Wall Street Journal regarding the certification process for the Boeing 737 MAX and the extent of Boeing’s involvement in the regulatory process, the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development held a hearing on oversight of the FAA on July 31.
