Eno’s Transit Mid Manager Seminar

Eno’s Transit Mid-Manager Seminar, is an intensive, weeklong course that provides mid-managers in the transit industry with the leadership and management skills needed to succeed.

It is designed for mid-level managers at public and private transit operating companies, private sector partners, and federal and state transportation agencies. It provides the tools for mid-managers to act as a bridge between senior leadership and public facing employees as well as to advance to more senior positions.

The course will take place in Seattle, with host King County Metro from July 18th to July 22nd and Chicago, with host Metra, from October 17th to October 21st.  The course structure and content will be the same in both places.

The course will provide mid-managers with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to lead the transit industry into the future. It will include the following topics during the weeklong seminar:

  • Leadership
  • Communication
  • Change management
  • Critical Role of Mid Managers
  • Crossing the Generational Divide

“[Eno’s Transit Mid Manager Seminar] has made me an infinitely better manager, a better communicator, more empathetic to my people, and also better at managing up. I would say that the relationship between the General Manager and myself was tenuous before Eno, but the “360 Review” that we did before the class really opened the lines of communication and allowed us to identify what was causing problems. I have a fantastic relationship with her now.” – Todd Struthers, Des Moines Area Regional Transit, Eno Transit Mid Manager Alumnus

The course includes:

  • Classroom instruction
  • Group workshops
  • A leadership panel with industry experts
  • Follow-up webinars
  • Two individualized confidential coaching sessions that provide each participant with detailed feedback and growth opportunities
