On January 9, 2017 the Eno Center for Transportation (Eno) and the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC) signed a cooperative agreement.

This agreement acknowledges the complementary visions both Eno and CUTC have in support of leadership and education in the transportation sector. Under this new agreement, the two organizations will coordinate activities and strive to fulfill common goals and objectives:

• To increase learning opportunities for students and graduates of transportation academic programs
• To enhance the amount of information available to faculty members
• To provide a platform to recognize outstanding contributions to the transportation field

“We look forward to working with CUTC to support and improve leadership and education programs in the transportation sector. We believe that this agreement will benefit not only both of our organizations, but more importantly, will improve CUTC and Eno’s ability to train and educate our future transportation leaders.” Said Eno President and CEO, Robert Puentes.

2016-17 CUTC President Jill Hough, Director of the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute’s Small Urban and Rural Transit Center at North Dakota State University, added, “This Agreement allows CUTC to create new opportunities for our member institutions, their faculty and students. We are pleased to be able to bring awareness of Eno’s innovative programs to a wider audience.”

CUTC will honor a masters degree student from one of its member universities with an award that includes a seat in Eno’s Future Leaders Development Conference. Current students interested in the 2017 program should inquire with CUTC.
