Eno is pleased to announce our 2019 Leadership Awards recipients.

This year’s Eno Thought Leader Award will be presented to Nat Ford, Chief Executive Officer of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) for his innovative vision and leadership as CEO of JTA and focus on the future of mobility as Chairman of APTA. Under his leadership, JTA is a national leader in adopting innovative technologies, like autonomous vehicles. During his tenure as Chairman of APTA, he brought this focus on the future to his role by helping launch a Mobility Innovation Hub and their 2018 Mobility Summit.

Eno will also honor Dr. Patricia Hendren, Executive Director, I-95 Corridor Coalition, with our inaugural Distinguished Alumni Award for her exemplary public service and contributions to the field. This award was created to recognize former participants in Eno training and leadership programs that have made a notable contribution to the transportation industry or to Eno. Dr. Hendren is not only an alumni of Eno’s Future Leaders Development Program, but continues to serve as a valuable and active member of Eno’s Board of Advisors where she provides vital expertise to our work.

You can join us to honor them at the annual Leadership Awards Reception on June 6, 2019 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Historic Terminal A Lobby. The reception is the culmination of a week’s worth of valuable experiences for our Eno Fellows, who are participating in the 27th Future Leaders Development Conference (LDC). The LDC provides twenty of the nation’s top graduate students in transportation-related programs the opportunity for a first-hand look at how national transportation policies are developed. During the weeklong program, the Fellows meet with federal, state, and local officials, as well as public, private, and non-profit leaders across the industry. All proceeds from the Leadership Awards Reception goes to support this transformational program.
