The House and Senate are taking the week of February 19 off for the President’s Day District Work Period, so no hearings are scheduled.

Here is what is happening the following week:

Tuesday, February 27 – House Homeland Security – Subcommittee on Transportation and Protective Security – subcommittee hearing on TSA’s engagement with the traveling public (witness list to be posted here) – 10:00 a.m., HVC-210 Capitol Visitors Center.

Tuesday, February 27 – House Transportation and Infrastructure – Subcommittee on Aviation – subcommittee hearing on the state of aviation safety (witness list to be posted here) – 10:00 a.m., 2167 Rayburn.

Wednesday, February 28 – House Transportation and Infrastructure – Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment – subcommittee hearing on water resource infrastructure programs and policies (witness list to be posted here) – 10:00 a.m., 2167 Rayburn.

Wednesday, February 28 – Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs – full committee business meeting to mark up H.R. 2825, Department of Homeland Security Authorization Act – 10:00 a.m., SD-342 Dirksen.

Wednesday, February 28 – Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation – full committee hearing on positive train control implementation (witness list here) – 10:30 a.m., SD-106 Dirksen.

Thursday, March 1 – Senate Environment and Public Works – full committee hearing on President Trump’s infrastructure initiative (Transportation Sec. Chao to testify) – 10:00 a.m., SD-406 Dirksen.
