Wednesday, Oct. 7 – Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee – full committee business meeting to mark up a long list of bills, including S.2093, to provide that the Secretary of Transportation shall have sole authority to appoint Federal Directors to the Board of Directors of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority – 10:00 a.m., SD-342 Dirksen.

Thursday, Oct. 8 – House Homeland Security – Subcommittee on Border and Maritime Security – subcommittee hearing on the risks of cyber-attack at U.S. ports – 10:00 a.m., 311 Cannon.

Thursday, Oct. 8 – House Homeland Security – Subcommittee on Transportation Security – subcommittee hearing on TSA oversight and management – 2:00 p.m., 311 Cannon.
