Wednesday, May 16 – House Appropriations – full committee business meeting to mark up the draft Energy and Water Development appropriations bill and the draft Agriculture appropriations bill for fiscal year 2019 – 10:00 a.m., 2359 Rayburn.

Wednesday, May 16 – House Homeland Security – full committee business meeting to mark up bills including H.R. 5730, TSA technology, and H.R. 5766, surface transportation security (full agenda here) – 10:00 a.m., HVC-210, Capitol Visitors Center.

Wednesday, May 16 – Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation – full committee hearing to examine the nominations of Heidi King (NHTSA), Jennifer Homendy (NTSB) and Joseph Gruters (Amtrak) – 10:00 a.m., SR-253 Russell.

Wednesday, May 16 – Senate Appropriations – Subcommittee on Transportation and Housing – subcommittee hearing on railroad safety initiatives (witness list here) – 3:30 p.m., SD-124 Dirksen.
