Eno to Release Paper on Lessons Learned From the Utah Transit Authority System Expansion December 3

The Eno Center for Transportation will host free webinar from 2:00 to 3:00 pm (EDT) on Tuesday, December 3, to share the results of a case study held on June 20, 2012. The paper, Lessons Learned From the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) System Expansion, details UTA’s journey as a single-mode mass transit bus operation to a system with more than 140 miles of new light rail and commuter rail in operation along with other improvements to the existing bus network. The paper details the expansion’s history and highlights the lessons learned from key players and stakeholders involved in the expansion. The paper also details political barriers to expansion, alternative project delivery methods, and lessons for other large transportation projects.

Panelists include UTA General Manager Michael Allegra; Eno President and CEO Joshua Schank; and Paul Lewis, Eno’s Policy and Strategic Finance Analyst.
